Watch what you say.
I got to go bitch and vent my feelings for the day with the head doc at the VA. It is nice that they picked this guy because he understands me a little better than the fat lady who dispenses the head meds. I learned something today; be careful what you say!. It is something that we pick up from out parents but don't really follow until your mouth takes a poop on itself. Well I was joking around that I might off myself on the anniversary of going unemployed for a year and that set off some bells and whistles. I told my dad also who seems to think that I don't really have a problem and it is all in my head. Well duh it is in my head. That is why I am seeing the head doc.
So I still do not have a job and will continue to fervently search. It has been ten months since I quit my job at my previous employer. It might of been a good idea seeing that the position I had now ceases to exist. What a travesty!
If anyone has any job leads please feel free to e-mail them to me. Yes I have tried fast food chains but they laugh in my face so don't send me the link to Mickey-D's. Also I have job seeker accounts on monster, careerbuilder, employflorida, talentzoo, soligig, orlandojobs, vajobs, usajobs, gsajobs, yahoo jobs, gamecock network, disney, your mom's place, etc. Don't send me any links to those sites either.
Well everybody have a peachy day and feel free to e-mail me at support@yourpartyexperience.com. You can send me an e-mail with anything you want in it because it will be the only e-mail I have ever gotten. Suck my balls!

When life gives you lemons squeeze them into a cold glass of "I don't give a damn".
Who is watching the Olympics? While my mom complains about how oppressive the host nation China is and youth think the Olympics are stupid I am watching. I am watching real close and not because of any political reasons. Sure we got a communist country hosting the Olympics and there is a war between Russia and Georgia going on but I still watch. I watch for the pure fact that it is a sporting event. This is the greatest sporting event on the face of the earth. It is when you can cheer for your country without being oppressed. It is when pride usually comes in the form of three abbrievated letters. It is when a team with no previous Olympians defies the odds and medals; congrats to Men's Gymnastics team for that bronze medal. It is about a time honored tradition for inividual and team supremacy that doesn't involve war. It is; the 2008 Olympics.

Preparing for the storm!
Fucking company beaurecrats and their obsession with money. Companies would do anything to squeeze just one more penny out of the economy. There is a tropical storm moving into Central Florida tomorrow and almost no one is given the day off. Unless you are emergency personnel, weather reporters, or law enforcement your ass should be at home. You got to watch your own yard and take care of your family. In a pathetic economy we are even more pathetic as a system when it comes to compassion. Do you really think someone is going to come in and buy a car tomorrow? Is the drive thru at McDonald's going to be packed? Are people really come in for a haircut tomorrow? I mean; what the hell is going on here?
Luckily none of these scenarios affect me because I am unemployed. Nonetheless family members and friends are turning to me for updates on the storm and where to go. Unfortunately not much of what I have to tell them is going to apply. This is because they HAVE TO GO TO WORK TOMORROW. Florida is becoming a useless state that is being overrun by seniors, illegal immigrants, and dumb asses. Some of us still live here and fight on. We hope for a better tomorrow. While the rest of the United States seems to be pulling themselves out of the economic hole Florida just dives in deeper.
Just to comment once again on the storm. Remember this is the same scenario as Charley in 2004. The storm was off the coast, strengthened, and then wiped out half of Central Florida. The storm track of Fay almost mirrors the track of Charley. Lets hope we are better prepared this time. Good luck everyone and get ready to ride it out.
E-mail me at support@yourpartyexperience.com if you too are pissed about this current scenario.

Something that only maybe I will remember.
Today I watched the standup2cancer.org telethon on NBC. While you could tell that most of it was scripted and some celebs messed up their lines the theme was the important part. I believe in fighting against cancer especially seeing it has affected my family in so many ways. I went online and donated $25.00. The donation form allows you to fill out a comment card section but my comments were too long. I shortened it up for the comment card but here is what I really wrote.
This donation might not be much but it is better to give some than not to give at all. I donate in memory of all my fallen loved ones from cancer and especially my grandfather. You did not live long enough to see me grow up and become a man. You would be proud to know that I am a college graduate and a military veteran.
While my current life is in dissaray and I am unemployed, broke, and feel like giving up my life forever; I think of what you would say to me. You would tell me to "get up and fight" and "be a man". You lost your fight with cancer and gave up your life unwillingly. I love you and miss you more than you could imagine. To strive to be the best man I can be is what you would want and that is what keeps me going. I know the fight is rough and I might have to go without for a few months. But I know you would be proud of me because even though I have little I still gave some.
I love you granddad. -
Grandson
I know I usually write some off the wall blogs but this one is serious. For the whole ten people that visit my website a day I am glad that you took the time to read this. Cancer is for real and this is a battle mankind has been losing for a very long time.
If you are interested in donating go to www.stepup2cancer.org and drop a few dollars for a good cause.

E-mail in response to the Buckethead show on real radio FM.
I was listening to the radio today and the host of a radio show asked people to call in with their sob stories about the economy and how it has changed your life. Well I sent an e-mail and here it is.
My name is **** and I live in Central Florida. I heard your radio segment tonight and I thought I would add to the mix.I am a military veteran and a college graduate. Just like every other college graduate I thought that once I graduated I would get the perfect job. I was wrong. My first job out of college was Disney. I left Disney after 6 months of working there and have been un-employed since. My life sucks ass right now. I have been un-employed for 10 months, didn't make enough to actually recieve susbstantional unemployment benefits, and somehow are learning to make $512 a month work. I went back to school for my MBA just so I could defer my loan payments. I use my overage check from school to pay bills. I am about to cash in my savings bonds so I can buy more groceries.
Gas is too expensive to drive to Orlando to work for $8.00 an hour; I live in Eustis. I actually guess to make that determination I would have to be offered a job first huh. Who knew you could be over-qualified to flip burgers? I have applied for 2,148 jobs in ten months. I have a running tally. The best thing that could happen is that I make the Guiness book of world records for this achievement and make some money. I can envision a plaque with 2,148 on it with my name. No asterisk next to it.
The worse part about not having a job is that you become available for everything. You can no longer use work as an excuse to get out of things. I spend time doing meaningless shit for people that sometimes mean nothing. I volunteer like a jackass for some tasks because I want to feel like I am giving back to the community. Well the community hasn't given me a darn thing. It is time to collect; give me a damn job!Who would of thought that out of my siblings I would be the un-employed one? With all the drug problems, house foreclosures, rehab, kids, educational mishaps, and accidents my siblings have endured; they all have jobs. Yet I worked my ass off to get to where I am which is quite pathetic in the eyes of many.
I served my country, went to college, and paid my taxes. What else do I need to do? Bring Palin over here and let me get a charity bang out of her. The economy sucks and we are all going down with it. Get ready for the rise of the machines. Meow! - ****

Update on job search and cat death
Things have not changed for me much in the way of finding a job. I did reach another milestone of passing 2,150 jobs that I have applied for. Maybe I will make it into the Guinness book of World Records as the least successful man that is a success. Kind of hard to get that all out.
I also watched a cat be put to sleep yesterday. It was very humane and I was impressed about how quick it was. The owner of the pet said she couldn't take care of it anymore because the cat would "mark" occassionally. While this is common among male cats the one cat in particular had been neutered already. The doc didn't want to put the cat down because the owner of the cat had not even tested the animal to see why it "marked". It was a woman who basically just wanted to get rid of a responsibility. Nonetheless the doc put the cat down because he has to claim a paycheck too. It is a sad fucking world!
